Cooking workshops with classic Spanish recipes
and local ‘Alpujarreño’ specialty dishes
Spanish cooking workshops in Casa 3 in Polopos are held in an intimate setting for 2 to 8 people. Together with the chef you will prepare traditional Spanish dishes like tortilla española, paella valenciana or fabada asturiana, depending on the season and personal preference. But Spanish cuisine is about more than these classics. Some recipes, like choto or migas de sémola de trigo are very local.
Often times we choose recipes because our neighbors, who all have vegetable gardens, offer us a bag of freshly picked, biological and local produce. When your neighbor gives you lemons, make lemon pie! We are also friends with the local shepherd and we buy lamb, kid goat, eggs and chicken from him.
After the workshop is done and all the food is ready we sit down together and enjoy the fruits of our cooking.
Our Spanish cooking workshop starts at €40 per person, depending on type and amount of courses.
