This house with separate studio and ruin is situated at the edge of the mountain village Polopos and has unspoiled views. When entering the main house of the property you are welcomed by both authentic Spanish Alpujarra architectural elements and also a modern kitchen fully equipped and renovated in 2019. The Kitchen is the heart of any house, but in this case because of its placement in the entrance it connects the outside with inside flawlessly.

When entering the main house of the property you are welcomed by both authentic Spanish Alpujarra architectural elements and also a modern kitchen fully equipped and renovated in 2019.

From the kitchen you pass the romantic (and functional) fireplace to your left into the dining/living area. The current owners have kept this a cosy space with beautiful old wooden beams but it can be expanded and light up by creating a door or windows to the ruins behind.

To the right of the kitchen behind the staircase is the utility/pantry area and very spacious bathroom of the house. The bathroom offers a large shower, bidet, toilet and sink.

Back to the kitchen we climb the beautiful Alpujarra-tiled stairs up to the sleeping quarters where we arrive on a large and bright landing. This can easily be created into an office space or reading-nook. From the landing there are two bedrooms on each side. Both bedrooms have breathtaking mountain views and offer plenty of light. The windows are double glazed and have built-in bug-screens perfect for the cool summer nights breeze.

(The master bedroom can be expanded to the attached ruin to create french doors and a terrace for example. Building plans and budget can be provided if interested)

Leaving the house back through the kitchen we arrive back on the street. We stand with our back against the door and look over to our right to the ruin part of the house that has not yet been renovated. This potential can be connected to the main house to create extra space, or used as a garden area for example.

In front of us we see the gorgeous studio terrace. This “living room” of the house can be enjoyed almost all year long as the sun shines 320 days a year in the costa tropical! The views are spectacular and the grape vine covering the terrace offers natural shade in the heat of the summer. It is a unique and relaxing area to enjoy a glass of wine or a morning sun salutation.

Underneath this terrace is a completely independent studio with bathroom, kitchenette and fireplace.

Underneath this terrace is a completely independent studio with bathroom, kitchenette and fireplace that can be used as a granny annex, office, guest house or art studio.

This is truly a combination between the beauty of an old Spanish village house and the comfort of a recently done renovation (all of the electrics and plumbing have also been modernised).
